Vergil is a Superintendant-class light frigate and the current commission of Lightstricken in the Third Age.
Early History[edit]
Vergil was constructed in 2021 at the CELAN Mustard Manor Chipyards. Its unique chassis -- that of a 2000-era Power Mac G4 -- is the realization of a long-term vision of Lightstricken, and required a long-term modification process with weeks of measurements, modifications, tests and adjustments. Upon completion of the case, the storage and CPU systems from his former commission, Heart of Gold, were moved to the new housing. Vergil was completed May 20, 2021, and formally commissioned June 25, 2021.
Following an AIO failure and tuning to reduce CPU voltage, Vergil was deployed for LAN usage. The system was at the time the most powerful stealth system in the CELAN Fleet -- as well as the only stealth system outside of the Auxiliary Fleet.

Present[edit]
With Oz's return to Faiak, Vergil was initially in service alongside Uncle Irvin at Farpoint Station. Due to Oz's desire for both a dedicated system for Rosetangle and a system that could accompany him to CELAN rites in Seattle, the two were case-swapped in early 2023. Damage to Vergil's Cooler Master N200P case in early 2023 necessitated the swap to a Fractal Terra. Finally, with the completion of Ahti, Vergil was rehoused in a Fractal Ridge and put into service as Farpoint Station's TV computer and first commission of the Northern Fleet.
