The Heart of Gold is a Quasar II-class heavy frigate, and the current commission of Oz K in the Third Age.
History
Constructed in late 2019, Heart of Gold maintained most of the non-platform components from Oz's previous system, Bistromath, which in turn replaced Oz's previous system Degraaf. The recommission was primarily a switch from Bistromath's 8th-generation Intel platform to 3rd generation Ryzen, a swap which necessitated a few added components for such issues as AIO fit, lighting control and others. Heart of Gold was then swapped from its NZXT housing to a Thermaltake cube.
Stealth Conversion
Starting 2020, Oz began preparing to refit a Power Mac G4 as Heart of Gold's new housing. The modification is expected to be complete in June 2021, which will make Heart of Gold the most powerful stealth system in the CELAN fleet.
