History
Acid Burn was selected by Oz as an replacement for its predecessor, Vega. Seeking similar LAN capability and portability, Oz turned to a familiar source. Zephyrus G14 systems captured during the ongoing conflict with the Republic of Gamers, re-designated the Starbridge-class by the Church, saw numerous advancements since the 2020 original, and proved to be an ideal replacement for the earlier variant. Reviews of the Mk. IV described the system's battery life and build quality as being reminiscent of a "gaming macbook," suggesting a system capable of daily driving and LAN use. Acid Burn is slated for field testing and a storage upgrade, replacing her stock 512GB NVMe SSD with 4TB drive.
