The OPAS Valkyrie is a Ragnarok-class Destroyer, and part of Rear Admiral Daedalus's Fort Doggo Fleet in the Third Age.

History

Launched in late 2019, Valkyrie was the second ship of the line constructed at Fort Doggo's Nidavellir Chipyard. Valkyrie was built to fill the role of an easily maneuverable attack boat to carry the flag of Rear Admiral Daedalus while his flagship Foehammer remained at anchor.

Originally a Vanguard-class Fast Attack Frigate and built around an B450 I Aorus Pro Wifi board, Ryzen 5 2600X, 16GB of DDR4 3200 and a GTX 1080Ti, Valkyrie received a complete refit in early 2020 replacing everything but the chassis and PSU. Commensurate with her new capabilities, she was re-designated the first Ragnarok-class Destroyer.

Home Fleet Duties

During The Big Sick, Valkyrie remained anchored in Fort Doggo but still served as Rear Admiral Daedalus' daily driver due to a highly integrated advanced (tele)communications array, granting her excellent multirole capabilities.
