Susan Strong was Screwsi's first self-built system, originally built in 2013 during the [[Second Age]] and then recommissioned in 2019. The same motherboard has been used since initial construction and as such, the name Susan Strong has remained with the build. However, the system's CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage have all been upgraded. During Strong's 2019 recommission, Screwsi went "ape-shit" (a formal, legal term) with RGBs.

Susan has had a long history of boot/power issues. Prior to being moved to her new chassis, which has its own issues (see "Known Quirks" section above), Susan's power button in her previous case broke and was pulled off, which meant that one had to hot-wire her to power her on.
 
In November of 2021, Susan Strong's core platform was updated from 4th-generation to 8th-generation Intel, and her power supply was replaced, eliminating boot issues that had occasionally resulted from the system's many RGB components.
