Thane '''Abunai of Lancaster''' (born 1987, in Faiak), was the first Thane of House Geek, and first Earl of the Undiploma'd. Before either of these titles were bestowed upon him, however, his first rank was that of Earl's Speechwrite, awarded for exceptional eloquence despite supreme smelliness. Subsequent consistent efforts for the Great Cause managed to earn him a promotion to Earl of the newly created office of Earl of the Undiploma'd, as well the title and rank of Thane. In the aftermath of the 2005-2006 school year, however, Abunai managed to render himself ineligible for the office. Thane Abunai of Lancaster (born 1987, in Faiak), was the first Thane of House Geek, and - until recently - was also the first Earl of the Undiploma'd. Initially contracted out by the House Geek Chipyards in late 2004 with the intent of a light, mobile Wardriving unit, Spark was hoped to be versatile enough to be used in other contexts. The result, however, was not optimal for the former purpose; too heavy to be easily carried, too hot to be used for extended periods, lacking battery life, and finicky, incompatible Centrino wireless made the system less than idealfor Wardriving expeditions.

Preliminary tests saw 343 Guilty Spark relegated to duty as an auxiliary LAN system, resulting in costly repairs due to spillage, breakage, and other damage. The machine sat, largely in dis-use, until late 2005.

After the unexpected death of Talyn, the true worth of Spark became apparent. After being outfitted with an additional gigabyte of memory (beyond the stock 512MB), Spark took over permanent desktop duties for Oz K. Fodrotski, and has performed admirably at any task given it. Spark's only malfunction since was the unexpected failure of the stock 60GB HDD; with a freezer, an external HDD, a piece of imaging software and a 120GB replacement, Spark continued to operate.

Spark was officially superseded by Radh1ka in February of 2007; he was renamed 2401 Penitent Tangent at that point, and was temporarily outfitted with OSX86 10.4.8, followed by Ubuntu Linux (Beta 7.04).

Vergil was constructed in 2021 at the CELAN [[Mustard Manor]] Chipyards. Its unique chassis -- that of a 2000-era Power Mac G4 -- is the realization of a long-term vision of Lightstricken, and required a long-term modification process with weeks of measurements, modifications, tests and adjustments. Upon completion of the case, the storage and CPU systems from his former commission, [[Heart of Gold]], were moved to the new housing. Vergil was completed May 20, 2021, and formally commissioned June 25, 2021.

Following an AIO failure and tuning to reduce CPU voltage, Vergil is now considered stable and LAN-ready. The system is presently the most powerful stealth system in the CELAN Fleet -- as well as the only stealth system outside of the [[Auxiliary Fleet]].
